As the title of my review says, we absolutely LOVED this place! We stayed here for only one night, but it was very cozy, CLEAN, and welcoming! We arrived late after a long drive from Seward, and our host left a light on and the door open for us. The room was a welcome and comfortable respite for us! The next morning, our host fixed a delicious breakfast of eggs, pancakes, reindeer sausage, baked goods, and fresh fruit. Too bad we were only staying for one night, because the great or common room was large, had fantastic views, and looked very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!!!

My husband and I just returned home from a wonderful vacation to Alaska. We stayed 2 nights at the Chocolate Drop Inn and had a wonderful time. The Blueberry Heaven room was beautiful and had a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. Brittany, the hostess, is both gracious and accomodating. She stored our luggage for us the day before we actually checked in - since we were going on an overnight fishing trip. She cooked a wonderful full breakfast with a wide range of choices every morning at 8:30 AM . This was our first time staying at a bed & breakfast and we will be back!

I stayed at the Chocolate Drop Inn Sept 6 - 10, 2004. The inn is a beautiful 6 bedroom log cabin lodge set in a wildflower field with a panoramic view of Kachmak Bay, the mountains and glaciers. Brittney, the owner and inn keeper did everything to make my stay comfortable. Brit cooks an incredible morning breakfast at 8:30. I left early to go fishing a couple of mornings and she made sure I was fed before I left. I was with 2 other travellers and we all commented to each other about how comfortable the beds were. When I return to Homer, I will be calling Brit for a reservation. I highly recommend this place.

A lovely log Inn surrounded by wildflowers and a breathtaking view of the mountains across Kachemak Bay. Our room was scrupulously clean and the full breakfast was excellent with a wide range of choices. Brittany, the hostess, is both gracious and accomodating. Six rooms are available with a range of sizes and amenities, including one suite. All have private baths and entrances. A spacious and comfortable common area includes a hottub on the rear deck facing the mountains. Prices range from $115 to $195 in season. We chose the least expensive option at $115/night and were very satisfied.

Stayed here three different times. Each time our stay was really enjoyable. We have a daughter in Homer, so we are frequent visitors. If able, we will
choose Chocolate Drop every time.
Breakfast are outstanding. A hot tub is available.
Brittany is most pleasant and accomodating. Rooms with private baths,
cleaned daily.
