Excellent home cooking. Any meal, any time. Generous portions at reasonable prices. Nothing fancy, just good food. If you want waiters in tails and tie, don't go here. If you want great food served by people who treat you like the next door neighbor, this is the place in Homer.
We ate 4 meals in Homer. Three of them were at the Caribou Family Restaurant. (We would have eaten 5 meals in Homer, but we were so full from the first breakfast that we skipped lunch!)
We did not order one of their dinner size salads, and I'm glad we didn't. Two ladies behind us ordered the "small" portion and were served a monster salad mounded with lettuce, meat and cheese on a 12" platter. There was enough there to fill ME up, and I can eat until they kick me out at a buffet. All for about $7.
Restaurants like this deserve your business.
