I didn't know food prices would be so much higher in Alaska than in the lower 48, even compared to metropolitan cities like Seattle and San Diego. With that said, some people may find that Jack Sprat prices are expensive when you're traveling in, but they're pretty comparable to other Alaska prices. What makes them really above and beyond is the quality of food you get. We spent much more on other meals in Alaska and this by far was better tasting and better quality. If you're traveling through, this is a great stop and a must eat at if you're staying at the resort. It was so much better than other establishments in the area, we ate here 3 times in our 4 day stay. The menu is limited, but everything was really good.
