“Greatest Dining Experience of my life”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2011

We had the Chef's tasting plate, which was excuisite. Everything about the dining experience was magic. From the Food to the wine, the staff to the view. I would not change a thing. The staff were extremely helpful and knowlegeable about the food and wine which made for a relaxing and comfortable evening - even the managere came down for a chat! One would be hard pressed to find a better view anywhere in the world to dine at. Coming all the way fro Australia, I'm glad I made the trip and I'd do it again tomorrow. Thank you 7 Glaciers!

We had the tasting menu and it was fabulous. Our server was a seasoned professional who really knew his food and wine. He very much enhanced the experience.

“The equal of top New York restaurants”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2011

This dining experience was everything we’d hoped for. It was a special occasion (my husband’s 60th birthday). We made our reservation on Open Table, but sent an e-mail message to the Maitre d noting this, and asking for a table with a great view. They certainly obliged! We were also very gratified that they had a menu which noted which of their selections were gluten-free as one of our party required such information. The food was outstanding. I ordered the elk and it was the best I’d ever had: moist, tender, almost fat-free. My friends were very happy with their halibut and salmon. We also had the citrus salad and cheese flights to start. And the desserts were beautifully presented - see photos. The restaurant had an energetic noise level, but not such much that we couldn’t hear ourselves. There is an extensive wine list, but we had cocktails. This dinner was a highlight of our trip and we heartily recommend it.

“Awesome view, beautiful meal, great service - it was an experience!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2011

We had a lovely dinner with excellent service. Yes - it's pricey - you're paying for the view and tram ride as well as the food. We had the misfortune to be seated in a section where a couple brought their 3 young children - who they allowed to run around the tables and make lots of noise. This is not a "kid friendly" place - at least those of us who want an elegant dining experience don't think it should be! When we complained we were seated in another area and given much attention and a free dessert for our troubles! Food was great!

“Upscale, fantastic views”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 29, 2011

At the top of Mt. Alyeska via tram, this restaurant has the best atmosphere and views. It is very upscale, not particularly small kid friendly even though they have a kids menu. Food is pretty good and expensive, but not bad priced compared to other picnic table seafood restaurants. Bar view and atmosphere is outstanding. Stay for a drink. Best dish was there ahi tuna appetizer. King crab was nothing better than what you can buy and boil on your own. Halibut was very good.
