“Huevos Rancheros is a must”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2013

This lovely little cafe is a great place for brunch and over the years has seen changes in ownership without the food or service suffering. The latest Australian owners are friendly and continue that hard-working, yet laid-back ethic that has always seen us return to the Saltwater Cafe whenever we visit Rarotonga. Thai and Mexican dishes are the specialty, and it's the huevos rancheros, quesadilla, and enchiladas that our family regularly order too. Good coffee and iced tea, and make sure you take away some of the delicious slices or a piece of cheesecake for dessert.

Great spot for lunch and a tasty milkshake. Fish and chips were delicious and Mel is a perfect host! Very friendly and helpful to all diners. Great work guys!

“Laid back lunchtimes!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 2, 2013

A beautiful view of the lagoon and great service from some Aussie ex-pats. The octopus curry was worth the visit on its own. This could easily be our regular lunch spot on our next visit.

“Worth a visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2013 via mobile

Such an amazing little cafe. Beautiful setting with lovely meals and great service. Visited this cafe twice, first at a very busy lunch service and the second just after they had closed the kitchen but the staff were still happy to serve us. Highly recommended!

“Lovely food and location, great customer service.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2013 via mobile

I enjoyed sitting at this cafe which is tagged as being the halfway point around the island.

The service was wonderful - they were polite, engaging and very accommodating with our request.

The food was nicely cooked and it was so good just being able to sit and relax - its also a hotspot for those wanting wifi!
