“This is beautiful.”

A peaceful ,relaxing and very private boutique resort, where we very much felt that we were the only people lucky enough to enjoy this place. At low tide you can walk along miles of beach, and when it rained we saw the unique sight of a complete rainbow from end to end.
In January it was rather too hot to use the free bicycles, but if you do, it is just a short ride into the nearby "town." Much better to take out a kayak and explore the lagoon.
Breakfast is complimentary but there is no restaurant, however we discovered Sonya's organic farm just steps away, which is open Mon,Wed, and Fri. She makes the most interesting food…try the breadfruit lasagne.

We loved our 1 week stay in Etu Moana. Managers, Tim and Lucille, were superb, as were all the staff. The units are spacious, well-equipped, and we loved the large front deck area. The beach was lovely, and swimming/snorkeling/kayaking through the offshore coral was a delight.
A healthy complimentary breakfast poolside started each day. There's no restaurant, but the units are well-equipped if you want to self-cater - the challenge is buying food on the island. There are restaurant choices just short beach walks away, and we had fun scootering around to further options. Best meal we had was in Tupunas. Renting a scooter is a great idea.
The lagoon cruise, with superb snorkel stops and outer island visits was well worth doing.
The islanders were just great - friendly and welcoming. Sunday morning church singing is quite the experience.
The island roosters were not so great - earplugs help.

Room Tip: unit4, a step back from the beachfront, was excellent. All units are identical inside, the beachside...

My partner and I stayed here for a full seven days and it was amazing. Beautiful setting with a stunning beach just steps from the units. There was peace and quiet with awesome service from the staff - especially the managers Tim and Lucile.

I wouldn't not hesitate for one second to come back here.

What a relaxing 5 days.. Etu Moana captures the Aitutaki spirt... Extremely private, personal and friendly environment.. We'll be recommending yet his place to everyone! We especially loved the honesty bar, it's a great idea to minimize staff around the resort, it felt like we were the only ones there most of the time.. Definitely the best holiday we've had!

This place was absolute bliss.. We stayed here for 5 nights and enjoyed every single second.. They have thought of everything! There's even a George Foreman grill in your villa cupboard! We stayed in villa 6 which is just back from the beach... Although the beach bungalows get glowing reviews I think any of these villas would be just as perfect. 99% of the time we found we had the resort to ourselves.. It was lovely how there were only staff on for a couple of hours in the morning the they would stay up in the reception area.. Thanks Tim and Lucielle, we had a fantastic holiday x

Room Tip: All of the rooms are fabulous.. So private that clothes should be optional haha

If you are travelling to Aitutaki, then we would recommend you stay at Etu Moana for as many nights as you can afford. We had a beautiful and well equipped villa with views to the sea from our large and comfortable balcony. The breakfast buffet by the pool was excellent which included delicious fruit loaf. It was only a short walk along the beach to "Puffy's" for the best fish and chips ever. Staying at Etu Moana was one of the highlights of our trip. We will return.

Etu Moana is nice place to relax. The villa is very good. All that you would want is there. I loved reading on a porch, you could see the beach and hear the surf. They have nice little pool. There is a bar. Its self service, you mark down what you take and pay later. They dont do food other than basic breakfast. You can use bikes for free or rent a scooter. Latter makes more sense. At first i took a bike and cycled around the island but its really too much considering the heat so dont bother and get the scooter, its the best way of getting around. There is several eating options nearby, to were you can walk or take a scooter. Mostly everything needs to be booked beforehand but people from EtuM will help with that. Maybe only place were you could walk in for a meal is Puffys, small stroll down the road and has to be said that as far as fish and chips goes its the best. The beach in front of the EM is not fit for swimming. Its possible to snorkel there during high tide but for the swim you have to walk a bit. Its not a biggie. All in all, what they do in Etu Moana the do really well and i had a wonderful time. Thanks Tim and Lucile
