“Great Fun”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2012

We went out with Rua who was an amazing guide - kind and patient. We caught a couple of bone fish (no eating through - they are catch and release to protect the industry) The fish give an awesome fight.

“Cooks in March”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 10, 2012

We spent two weeks in the Cook Islands this past March. Four days on Rarotonga and nine days on Aitutaki. Raro was great but Aitutaki is "drop dead georgeous". We stayed at Popoara Ocean Breeze Villas on Autitaki and would highly reccommend Allen and Maria Mills place for great food and very cozy bungalows. They were great hosts and their Boatshed Bar and Grill is a classic. We fished with Etu Davey for four days and caught some HUGE bonefish. We boated three double digit fish: the largest a bit over 14 lbs. We had other large fish on but for varied reasons, they are waiting for our return. Etu is an outstanding guide and a very pleasent guy to spend time with on the water. Very patient and helpful. A gentleman by the name of Ian Dollery is working at the Boatshed in affilation with the Marine Resources folks in efforts to get a sound sports fishery on solid ground. From what we observed, he has things going in the right direction. Ian was very helpful during our stay. We had read much about netting of large numbers of bonefish in the past. None was evident during our stay. Hopefully this will continue. There are giant bonefish at Aitutaki; if wisdom prevails, they willl be here for a very long time. Great company, good times. We will be back soon.

“E2 Way all the way”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 4, 2011

A friend advised me if I want to have a decent chance of landing a bonefish in Aitutaki I would require the expertise of Itu Davey and his bro's. I cant speak highly enough of Itu and brother Rua. Their knowledge of the lagoon and fish habits is second to none putting me on good numbers of solid fish. E2 way could not do enough for me even ferrying groceries out to the small motu I was on, offering helpful advice on casting techniques and fly selection. Great company, great bunch of guys. I will be back next year. Cheers E2

“Big bonefish heaven”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2011

The good news is there are plenty of bonefish and huge fish at that.Itu is a gun guide and a top bloke as are his brothers.Already a competant caster and flytier you need to take notice of his advice as these fish, especially the large fish, are pretty spooky.Good casting is essential and be prepared for a bit of wind.Beautiful place great people, highly recommended.
