My husband and I visit Costa Rica many times a year and on every trip we go to Ka'Kau
They have the best breakfast (French toast is an absolute must) and lunch,(you have to try their steak sandwich). Plus their coffee is to die for, its made from a special Ka'Kau blend.
Also, there are tons of vegetarian options.
Maik, the owner, is a trained pastry chef, so their desserts are soooo good. Their bread pudding is life changing and their Banoffe pie needs an honorable mention. Everything is homemade and made fresh daily, including the bread.
The owners are Maik and his lovely wife Beatriz, they are super friendly.
