“truely fine dinning”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2014

our first night in CR we really didn't want to have to leave the hotel to dine. We were so pleased when we walked in the lounge and smell all the great aromas. we stared out with escargot, moved to light salads then enjoyed perfect prepared fish meal. all should take time to enjoy this place.

“Fine dining in tasteful atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2014

The restaurant is part of a hotel styled in a colonisation era design and has a lovely atmosphere.
The drinks were great and the food was superb, though the portions were rather big for a french inspired menu.

“Great Food, Great Prices, Especially For Hotel Guests”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2014

My wife and I were staying at the hotel for our honeymoon and didn't want to leave to eat dinner. We were easily accommodated. After looking briefly at the tripadvisor page we anticipated a relatively expensive meal. We each had drinks, appetizers, and entrees and with tip (20%) and tax our total bill was about $120 for two. Which is very reasonable for any city I've ever been in.

All the food we had was great. We each had a different kind of Costa Rican fish which we thought tasted great. The fish was fresh and moist and we both left more than full.

Our only complaint is that while our waiter spoke English fairly well and and was exceedingly nice, he often took a long time to get to us. I generally notice this most as I drink a lot of water with dinner. It was noticeable how often my water glass was empty.

We would absolutely eat here again and think it was a great value, especially considering it's attached to a wonderful hotel.

“Delicious Dinner and Breakfast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2014

Wonderful options and delicious food. Beautiful restaurant, great service. Pricey, but it's a high end restaurant. Not the best choice for a family of 8, but worth the convenience on our last night and morning in Costa Rica.

“Elegant dining”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2014

The restaurant is in an enclosed courtyard of the old mansion and is well appointed. Service was excellent and the menu reasonably extensive. The food was fresh and excellent.
