“Lovely Afternoon”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2014

This was a nice relaxing tour with lunch and a visit to what could be considered a botanic garden. I cannot remember the name of the gardens, but they are quite nice. After the garden you ride around the valley and stop at a couple of churches, have lunch and then return to the hotel. This is a good tour if you have mobility issues as there are few stairs or hills to climb or you just want to relax and do something. You can also add the volcano tour in the morning and make it an all day combination if you want to be more active.

“Verdant Valley”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 21, 2014

Oh, my, this is a beautiful area in Costa Rica. I don't see how anyone could not agree. The view from the Mirador is spectacular. We have been there twice, and, yes, it was a bit rainy and cloudy, but so pretty. In the little town of Orosi the old church, built in 1743, is not to be missed. The old wooden pews, the wooden floor, and the tile roof are special. When I walked into the courtyard I was dazed by the gorgeous Hydrangeas covering the area. I took some beautiful photos of the courtyard and the little church. We also visited the cemetery on the hill above the church. On a previous visit we ate a delicious lunch at a restaurant next to the Cachi Dam. On this visit we had coffee at a little café near the soccer field in Orosi, before traveling on to Turrialba and Guayabo National Monument.

“overrated valley”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2014

we spent quiete some time there going back & forth by car, as we could not believe how unattractive it was, we thought we were missing the good spot somehow.
Compared to diffrent parts of Costa Rica this valley & specially the village Orosi hasn't much to offer, not even a nice restaurant.
But there is a fantastic pub just at the black bridge & they serve great meals & drinks!

“Beautiful Green Valley”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 20, 2014

We took a day tour organized by Go Tours Costa Rica that included the Orosi Valley. This was the best experience I had with my wife. One begins to feel the whole valley and appreciate the landscape. This is an artist dream with mountains, animals, coffee plantations and plants unique to Costa Rica. The setting can be photographed and painted. I agree it is the most beautiful valley in Costa Rica.
