This is an excellent boutique hotel in a great location. I was amazed at the beautiful room (it was small though). The price was excellent and included transportation to and from the airport and breakfast. We had dinner and drinks in the hotel restaurant and really liked that as well. The staff were very friendly.

The hotel is well located in San Jose with a very good value for money, we have been here in the 18 months quite a number of times using their Penthouse Guest Room.. Even so it is not that easy to get to the Penthouse the view and outfit is great.

The Restaurant offers a nice Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner with a very good Quality; the service staff is doing a fine job with a very friendly attitude. If you require any additional service or help the Employees will go out of their way to provide it.

In short the place is a perfect place to stay and a very good option if you do not wish to stay in one of San Jose high end hotels, the only down side the property has is at times the heavy and loud traffic noise from the street.

Great place to do business. Comfortable rooms, nice little restaurant with room service and great breakfast. The best is the free wireless internet. Staff is really nice. They printed some documents for me. If you have some extra time, go to the gold museum nearby. It is really worth the time. Check for their specials on the website. Sometimes they include free dinner in a stay. If you don't mind spending a little extra, ask for a junior suite ending in 07 as they are very spacious and nice. The best one is 407 with great views of the nearby volcanoes.

Parque del Lago is located right at the beginning of the main road in San Jose, right off of the Panamerican Highway. It is relatively convienient to the airport (about 15 minutes by cab) - Parque will give you a free cab ride to the airport if you communicate with them prior to your stay and let the know if your arrival. Stay also includes free, continental breakfast, which can be turned into a complete breakfast buffer with a wide selection of fruits and Costa Rican dishes.

Rooms are decorated with a modern flair - beds are somewhat comfortable. Rooms are apportioned with flat-screen TV's and high-speed (for Costa Rica) wireless internet access, which is slow at times, but good enough. Bathrooms are spartan, but clean.

Customer service is phenomenal - very helpful, speaking good English, and always able to provide the proper advice for any question - from how much time to get to a business destination, to restaurant suggestions. I must suggest the restaurant at the Grano de Oro hotel - just a few blocks away. Great atmosphere and decent prices for wonderful food.

I would return here again for a one or two night stay. Perfect for business travel or for the one night stay going to from other CR destinations on the way to/from the airport.
