“Good food and ambience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2013

I went to both: San Pedro and paseo colon. San Pedro is more formal, though still casual, paseo colon much livelier and open. I prefer the latter. All the food was great, mine and my companions.

“Great Peruvian food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2013

We went mid afternoon when it was very quiet and staff were very attentive. We wish we could have gone back in the evening, when there was more of a buzz. We particularly enjoyed the potatoes with cheesy sauce.

“A Taste of Peru”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2012

I've been to Peru where the cuisine is amazing. Whenever I'm in San Jose I eat at Machu Picchu to get my Peruvian fix. My favorites are the ceviche, Aji de Gallina and the Parmesean Shrimp.

“overpriced and not 100% peruvian.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2012

i'm for peru, and we get the real meals there that they have in the restaurtant for a fraction of a price. it's not 100% peruvian. they accomodate the food to fit the costa rican taste buds, but it's alright. the price for a pisco sour is an absolute ripoff.
