“Safe and comfortable hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2014

We stayed here the night we arrived and the night before we departed. Very comfortable and safe hotel. It is 5 min from the airport! The hotel pays for your cab to the hotel. Luis is helpful and makes a great breakfast to get ya going!

5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2014

We stayed at the Hotel !! Millenium March 3, 2014. We called from the airport and were rewarded with a room at an amazingly great rate.
When we pulled up in a cab, Luis, the manager, met us outside and paid the taxi. He then helped with the bags and made us feel like we were royalty. He was so friendly and accommodating, we could not have asked for a better welcome. Luis is completely bilingual although we tried very hard to speak our broken Spanglish. He never made us feel foolish but we feel if you are in another country you should TRY to converse in their language. He answered all our questions and took us to our room.
The rooms were clean, and comfortable. There is a beautiful little garden to sit in and enjoy the weather. Included is a breakfast, cable and colour TV, internet, hot showers. I couldn't have asked for anything else.
Just down the street are Costa Rican restaurants or American fare.
I would definitely tell anyone looking for a reasonable, clean hotel near the airport. to look no futher... This is a wonderful, welcoming hotel.

Pull off the busy highway, through the gate and enter an oasis that is within a mile of the airport, so convenient for pre or post vacation. Cecilia, the owner, is lovely, speaks good English, and gives a generous discount if you pay in cash. Breakfast is an option, simple yet hearty and fresh. Free wifi. The rooms are clean, nicely tiled and open out onto her gardens. We came in November and the lobby was beautifully decorated for the holidays. We will return!

Room Tip: Rooms furthest from the road are quieter.

We stayed here two nights... arriving in Costa Rica late and leaving the country very early two weeks later. Great price. Convenient location close to the car rental and the airport. VERY close to the airport...about a $5.00 taxi fare. Lovely, gated courtyard. Good breakfast of coffee, fresh fruit, cereal, eggs and bread. The staff is friendly, helpful and accommodating.

this hotel is charming and the hosts are fantastic! it's the best value near the airport - pay cash and get a discount ($50-$60 per night). each room opens up to their 'courtyard,' simple but lovely breakfast is included. if you're renting a car - there's a gated parking lot, which is very safe.

we had dinner at rusty pollo (15 minute walk) and there were nice vegetarian options.

the airport is near, so especially if you're planning to sleep in a bit, bring earplugs! you should have a pair when you're traveling anyway. the night is very quiet, but evening and early morning might be a bit noisier. nothing out of the ordinary for a hotel next to the airport!

stayed there twice, at the beginning and end of our trip and would absolutely recommend it.

pura vida!

Dirty sheets, hard bed. Like i said, you get what you pay for. Close to airport means the planes feel like they're flying into your room. Disco bar next door playing all night kept us up. Breakfast was ok...

This place is very close to the airport (3-5$ taxi drive). This was handy since I had a late evening flight in. Having an early morning flight out, this was perfect.
The rooms are simple, but clean.
The staff really helpful.
A couple hundred meters away you will find hotels for 3 times the price you pay here.
Being so close to the airport, I was surprised at how low the noise level actually was. I slept well.

Room Tip: I was in rooms 2 and 3. They were fine.
