An excellent hotel offering upscale accommodations at a fair and reasonable price. Located in a suburb of San Jose. There is a decent restaurant on the premises, plus a 10-acre, beautifully maintained private garden of tropical plants which surely is one of the most outstanding tropical gardens anywhere in the world--the garden also houses swimming pool, tennis courts and conference facilities. The writer highly recommends this hotel. If you go, spluge for Room 301, which is particularly spacious and offers a wonderful view of the garden from its largish deck. Located 15 minutes from downtown San José and 20 minutes from the airport.
