“Amazing quesadillas! Went back the next day!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 14, 2013

Find this place and you'll go back again! We went to it on a Thursday night, and were so bummed when it was closed on Good Friday, but were ecstatic to eat there the next day on a Saturday. The quesadillas are the bomb, and the cooks are friendly! You can get it to go or sit at a nice little table. Definitely our favorite spot in Quepos! Great value for your money! You won't regret eating here!

“Cheap home cooked meal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 11, 2013 via mobile

If you're staying in the Manual Antonio area, the short trip to quepos is worth it for the food! The prices are about half of what you would be charged in MA. Cooked fresh and very flavorful!

“Authentic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 7, 2013 via mobile

This place is very small. Only 4 tables. The two women who run speak no English so we just winged it and it was delicious. All the locals eat here so don't miss the experience.

“Great food, low cost, authentic Costa Rican experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2013

We referred to Soda Sanchez by a local and man were we happy we tried it out. We wouldn't have on our own cus you never know if a Soda is going to be good - and I wouldn't know what to order etc. But we sat down - we could make out most of the menu (all in spanish) - and we just asked the people at the next table what they were having. Our lunch was amazing - just basic good quality food cooked really well. We were so pleasantly surprised and glad to have had an authentic Costa Rican lunch. Thank you Soda Sanchez!

“Authentic Costa Rican meal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2013

The cheapest meal and the most authentic we have had yet. A 3 table restaurant with two little ladies cooking up a storm. A huge traditional meal with beef, beans, rice, plantains, salad, and potatoes was 4$. Wishing we could go back!
