“Excellent ATV experience!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 18, 2013

Had a wonderful fun filled atv experience, which consisted of lots of excitement and great nature scenery views. Our guide, Carlos, was wonderful! The visit to the rainmaker was great, but I thought the atv part was the best. The food eaten at the fourtrax place was deelicious! The best food we ate since we were in Manuel Antonio-Quepos area. Highly recommend Fourtrax for your atv adventures!

“generally a good trip but we had higher expectations for wildlife sightings, speed and off road”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 2, 2013

In general I think we were expecting more from the description ((into the rugged mountains, where your professional bilingual guides lead you through rustic tropical settings, unpaved roads, giant African Palm Plantations, real working cattle farms, and typical Costa Rican towns like Naranjito, Londres, Villa Nueva and Esquipulas.) but we still had fun. I giess on a technicolity you do all that...but its quick and there are no explanations on what you see. The majority of it is on dirt roads through the palm plantation.

Overall, Riding ATVs with your kids is fun. Its about a 35 minute ride each way to Rainmaker and you do get dirty and dusty. You never really get to open up the throttles though because you are in tight formation. so if you're looking for top speed and off roading this is not the tour for you.

The hike itslef is average, but the isolated cool water swimming hole is a lot of fun for 20 minutes to cool off and the suspension bridge is fun also. We didnt really see any wildife.

Keep in mind you will also have to stop in quepos to sign waivers before leaving for the activity.

Overall, a fun activity for the family.

“Great adventure- rainmaker not to be missed.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2013

While I am not a big fan of ATV's in general, I planned this tour for my 16, and 10 year old. We all stepped outside our comfort bubble and it was a blast. The ATV portion is bumpy and dirty and lots of fun. Then you get to the Raimmaker it was a beautiful and actually cooler. The suspension bridges were scary for the smaller kids- but safe. Swimming in the the cooler water was a treat. Be sure to wear your suit there, or bring it. You are dirty from the ride both ways so take care what clothes you decide to wear. The lunch was very good and it was a fun tour for a group of people with no experience in riding anything out than a bike

“ATV Manuel Antonio”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2013

Our tour guide was a man with a laid back attitude and long dreadlocks. He took us on the 2:00pm tour around Manuel Antonio countryside and all the way to a beautiful waterfall where we could swim in the natural pool. Enjoyed roaming around Costa Rica on the ATVs and feeling the wind pass us by. Our guide was very great at pointing out wildlife near the waterfall and making sure that everyone was safe on their ATVs. But do make sure that you wear sunglasses and have your visors down because it can get a bit dusty if your the last one in a line of many running ATVs. Also the ATV tour in Manuel Antonio had the best meal of all the excursion tours that I have been on. Loved everything about this excursion and would highly reccomend this as a must to do for a trip in Costa Rica.

“Great Time!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 22, 2013

It is a little on the pricey side, but we had a very nice time. Carlos was are guided.
He was very pleasant and informative. We drove through Palm groves, through a
Village to the Rainmaker National Park. Did a little walking in the park to a swimming
hole and a waterfall. Very beautiful area. Enjoyed the tour.
