“Disappointing”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 14, 2012 via mobile

Rooms are out dated, air conditioning sounded like an airplane taking off.. Was like sleeping on the M25 motorway. !! Could hear everything the neighbour said. Beds were awful, soft and old. And the fridge sounded like a shotgun every 20 minutes

“Great hotel but look for your wallets and things”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2012

In early October I was in this hotel for one night, the attention of the staff was good. The food at reasonable prices. The canopy was enjoyed by my son and my nice. Clean pool.Nice areas with rainforest gardens. Rooms are comfortable and nice. But the wallet of my sister was stolen somebody took money from her purse and a credit card which was used in an area near the hotel. It is a shame becase we had really enjoyed the time there. :(

“Excellent day trip destination”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 1, 2012

We are currently living in Quepos for a year and recently spent a day at La Foresta thanks to a tip from my hairdresser. We spent the morning hiking the trails (muddy during rainy season - make sure to have good footwear!)....beautiful flora & fauna and views at the lookout. The highlight of our morning hike was coming across a large group of endangered howler monkeys - our kids LOVED this!
We enjoyed lunch (great food and service) at the restaurant and hung out all afternoon at the pool. If you order food, you can enjoy the trails and pool for free - it's a great deal. We were considering going to Dominical for trails in a nature park there but entrance was $6.00. At Foresta, for a couple more dollars per person you not only get the trails but also a meal and pool.
A great day to spend the day if you're looking for both adventure and relaxation.

“Quiet place close to Quepos, Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2012 via mobile

One month ago I went to Quepos Manuel Antonio for business with my wife and had the opportunity top stay in this quiet hotel. It,s not close top Manuel Antonio national park, but not so far just 10 kilometers. The rooms are comfortables , good beds, A/C TVE cable, nice gardens and a good costarican tipycal breakfast. The prices aire similars with hotels from the area.
Te service is nice .
This hotel has swimming pool restaurant and tour desk. It,s not a deluxe hotel but is ok for regular tourists that looking for a quiet hotel

“Incredible place to visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2012

Costa Rica was a place of ever-changing wonderment and scenery. We covered all corners of the country on our trip and ended the tour with the relaxing beauty of La Foresta Nature Resort. We were greeted right away by the exceptionally friendly staff. I found the people of Costa Rica to be very friendly, although in Manuel Antonio, the staff at several other restaurants and hotels were not very welcoming. The people at La Foresta were incredible, however. They made us feel right at home from the start. We stayed in a villa with two bedrooms, a kitchen and living area. The food was delicious (my husband especially loved their tres leches) and I loved their mixed fruit smoothies more than anything else that I tasted the entire trip! La Foresta is right in the middle of the jungle and it truly feels like Costa Rica. We loved waking up and walking through the trails in the jungle, seeing the monkeys and iguanas roaming around in front of our rooms and relaxing in the pool. The greatest part of this resort is the Titi Canopy zip line tour. (I went twice, it was so fantastic!) "Monkey" is their greatest zip line tour guide. The zip line takes you to the top of the of the jungle to oversee everything. It's paradise like nothing I've ever experienced before. They also offer a free shuttle to the beach and back. I would definitely stay here again.
