We stayed there for 3 nights in 8 bed dorm, but there were also some private rooms with couples and families (each night our room was half empty so it wasn't crowded).
The hostel from outside doesn't look very good and might be hard to find, it's a 3 story building, the hostel is on the top floor. Beds looked OK, although they are a bit noisy and shaky. There were insects. Lots of them... but it's Costa Rica, so that wasn't an issue for me.
But the best part was Mauricio - the owner. He is a super friendly and helpful guy, who helped us with our luggage and even greeted us with some ice cold drinks when we arrived. He makes tasty breakfasts and will definitely do everything to make you feel comfortable.
There is wifi, fans and the location was very good (the town itself is small, so everything is very close)
