“Average cuisine”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2013

We did not have anything special at this restaurant: the food was ok, service was ok. The best part was the food came out fast. I would not go eat there again, I think that it was rather expensive and not memorable in any way!

“Genuine Italian food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2013

Had 5 great days in Montezuma and returned to L Angolo Allegro 4 times for dinner. This place rocks. I've been lucky enough to travel Italy extensively and this place is the real deal. Pizza better than most I've had there... completely unexpected and such a treat. We had most of their pasta dishes among us too, and liked them all, especially the tomato-pesto, carbonara, and shrimp taglietele. They do a very nice tomato bruschetta and focaccia for apps too. The food highlight of our trip.

“Bad pizza and slow service”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2013

The staff was very friendly, but it took over 45 minutes to get pizza to go. The pizza we did get had burned crust and was generally not good. The pasta dishes being served looked tasty and the other reviews seem to contradict our experience. Maybe just a bad night.

“Heavenly....”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2013

The food here was delicious and if you are craving some quality Italian food, this is the place to go. I had the caprese sandwich and my boyfriend has pasta. Both were delicious. As a vegetarian, typical Costa Rican food leaves something to be desired--only so much rice and beans one can eat;this place had a great selection of vegetarian pastas and sandwiches. The staff was really friendly as well. Will be in Quepos for two more weeks and we will definitely be coming back here.

“Place to be known better”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 12, 2013

Nice small restaurant where you go for the food not the decoration or the view. Right in the middle of Quepos, it was quite noisy in the neibourhood but the restaurant was quite. We had sandwiches for lunch and they were just great.
The waitress was very nice and polite with us.
