Our group of four enjoyed dinner at Mamma Mia on 11/10/09.
We stumbled upon the restaurant while walking down to Quepos. It is located at the Mimos Hotel, close to Quepos on the main road.
The setting is perfect. The restaurant is open air under a large enclosed roof. The decor is lovely and about the only criticism I can share is that the music selection was a bazaar mix of opera, hip-hop, and adult contemporary (but we rolled with it!).
We had great service from Rolando and enjoyed the wine and meal. We were treated to bruschetta on the house and loved our entrees, desert, and coffee.
The highlight was toasting and drinking fine wine in the middle of the rainforest in the middle of a rainstorm. The rain poured down all around us, but we remained comfortable and content at Mamma Mia Ristorante.
I'd definitely go back...and definitely recommend it to other travelers.
