“We loved Oleaje Sereno Hotel!!!!”

Nice air conditioned and clean rooms at a very reasonable rate. Beautiful restaurant with on the river. Helpful staff! Make sure you make your reservations directly with the hotel website, hoteloleajesereno.com. DO NOT use Discovery Travel World to book your room!!! Discovery Travel World charged our card and did not make a reservation. Fortunately when we got there at 11pm there was a room. They were so helpful...we highly recommend this hotel!!!

“Totally overpriced”

Don't stay here! We booked ahead at Hotel Oleaje on the internet as we were catching a boat from Sierpe to Corcovado National Park the next day. Our room stank of mothballs (the bathroom was unbearable) and the paint was peeling off the walls where there had been a major water leak from the air conditioner. It was dramatically overpriced (ten times the price of other places in town we later discovered) and depressing.
