“Excellent Gift Shop very close to the airport”

The Jagua Arts and Crafts was great place to select quality locally made arts and crafts for your friends and family back home. The proprietor was friendly and helpful as well as very knowledgeable about the local art. It is located right around the corner from the airport with less than a 2 minute walk. Very convenient with quality merchandise.

“Treasure Trove”

On the main street of Puerto Jimenez this place is full of interesting items...beautiful paintings and fantastic masks are my favourites, in fact i ended up getting one of each with me :-). If you are looking for something to take home with you which isn't the usual souvenir this is the place. Items are not cheap but they are worth their price.

“nice selection of various local crafts”

this little shop by the airport in puerto jimenez has a lot of things going for it. well sourced local crafts of all sorts line the walls from hand woven bags to glass jewelry made by the owner and the best selection of masks at decent prices. My favorite items are wood boxes and objects by famous costa rican artisan Biesanz. these pieces are incredible. definitely worth a stop
