Chris Langos was very helpful both before we arrived and during our stay. He helped arrange transportation, advised us about side trips and was always pleasant to deal with. I had wanted to see scarlet macaws in Costa Rica. We saw a few in Corcovada National Park and I thoroughly enjoyed them. However, I was stunned when 6 of them swooped down to a beach almond tree which grows very close to the reception area. They came every day. They have a racuous voice which I learned to recognize. They are not loud like the howler monkeys were in Corcovada National Park though. We had spent the night at Sirena Station prior to flying to Puerto Jimenez. We were incredibly grateful for clean, spacious rooms with air conditioning. We ate in town at an Italian restaurant for one meal, but had better food at Agua Dulce and at Pearl of the Osa which is a restaurant a short walk down the beach from Agua Dulce. We never tried the large multiperson jacuzzi that our room and our son's room shared since we spent our time outdoors.
