I'd probably be repeating what most have written- beautiful location, lovely architecture, ridiculously amazing food, thoughtful and generous staff... So READ them. Even the minor kvetching, while at times accurate, is part of what you need to know.

This is not a Diva Boutique Resort - and you know who you are - so don't come here looking for that. Do go if you want to relax, refresh and indulge in the world around you.

We stayed at Blue Osa in August 2012 and had a most wonderful time. We loved the grounds of Blue Osa, the magical pool, our room, and the folks and doggies. And don't get me started about the food! Marie and her cooking staff did not disappoint! I mean honestly, I would go there for the food alone! Everything was just perfect and we loved the Osa peninsula. This was our second visit to Costa Rica in 6 months so we have stayed in a number of places throughout CR. Blue Osa stood out and we hope to return one day.

You can choose to rest or participate in a wealth of activities. We went on the Matapalo hike/bike tour and had a wonderful time. Our guide was so accommodating and knowledgable. We also had lots of beach walking time with the dogs which was a lot of fun. I highly recommend Blue Osa if you are the type of traveler who is looking for peace, relaxation, great food, kind people, lots of wildlife, and enjoy a natural oriented time away. Great for couples who want to escape and spend romantic time together. Also great for the adventurer!

Blue Osa truly is magical, I couldn’t have picked a better place to unplug, let go and get inspired. I completely fell in love with the place and can’t wait to go back! Blue Osa is directly on the beach and watching the sunrise over the ocean was my favorite part of the day, well maybe also my run on the beach with the puppies, my swim in the pool or Aaron’s daily yoga classes, definitely Marie’s food, which is outstanding. My room was wonderful with spectacular ocean view and listening to the waves is like a lullaby. I came for the pool and will come back for yoga! Thank you Aaron, Marie and the whole Blue Osa family for creating this paradise, a home away from home.

Great Pool/Grounds. Lots of beach time! We were under the yoga studio which was fine.
