We stayed for three nights at this great hotel and were very happy with everything. The rooms were nicely decorated, spacious, clean, and had quiet A/C that worked very well. The staff were very friendly and helpful, including booking tours and taxis. The swimming pool was inviting and the grounds well-kept and beautiful. Breakfast was not included in the green season, but right next door is a very nice restaurant. The town is only a 20 minute walk or a short taxi ride away. We highly recommend this hotel, especially since it was very reasonably priced.

The is a very nice and new property. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable and the locations is good. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our kids enjoyed the pool and we played many games of marco polo there. The garden surrounding in the property is nice. I would definitely stay there again.

Great comfortable villa, but no breakfast included, as I missed the cut off for high season, aand ended up buying breakfast at Carolina's in town.

Room Tip: Stay in a villa, very nice!

We had just come back from a day of zip-lining and hiking and we were hot, tired, and thirsty. Las Islas Lodge was a very welcome place for us to relax. The grounds are attractive, the pool is cool, and the room had a comfortable bed, air conditioning, and a small refrigerator! Loved the huge shower in the bathroom. Helen, who greeted us, brought us complimentary fruit drinks poolside! And, a very good breakfast is included! A really good place to stay if you're in Pto. Jimenez.

Room Tip: For more privacy, ask about a separate cabin/room.

On visual inspection, they are most definitely the most beautiful and lush property in Puerto Jimenez, impeccably kept by a gardener who knows his stuff. Coming through the gate, you feel immediately at home in the lush tropical setting. You are warmly greeted by Maria and/or Oscar, the proprietors, who make you feel like old friends. They will do everything and anything possible to make your stay perfect. My boyfriend and I had a cabin which was way in back, quiet, and impeccably cleaned every day. The teakwood was beautifully cared for inside and out. We didn't use the pool as we were too busy fishing or taking a day trip to beautiful Drake Bay but it and the pool area were lovely. Oscar is a master captain and fisherman who does his best to make your fishing trip memorable. It was a pleasure to fish with him!! Breakfast is a treat, served every morning al fresco and cooked to order, with a beautiful plate of fresh fruit to nibble as it is being cooked. Everything about Las Islas just makes me smile and reflect on the nice time we had there. It truly felt like home and we look forward to returning one day.

Room Tip: Cabins in the back are secluded and give you a feeling of your own private house in the jungle.

We stayed here for only 2 nights while in the Osa Penninsula. It's a great place to stay while you're visiting the Osa Penninsula. The hotel arranged a tour and our guide Juan Carlos was great! It gets very hot there, so be prepared with plenty of water and sunscreen on those trips into Corcovado National Park.

As for the hotel, we didn't get to really enjoy the property much (just sleeping, breakfast and dinner since we were so busy there), but they were very helpful in arranging the tour and making sure everything else we did there went smoothly.

This is also an excellent value for this area.
