An efficiently run and friendly guest house, a cut above the usual hostels. You can see why it's popular (one of my neighbours decided to extend his stay by 2 weeks) and booking ahead is recommended. Mosquito nets are provided although when I was there, the place seemed to be bug-free. The terrace outside the kitchen is a good place to meet other travellers. One of the Luna Llena's advantages is to be situated a few minutes walk away from the bustle of the town, and the only disturbance was from the traffic grinding up the hill in first gear (which amusingly, the howler monkeys protested at, as well). If you're up for it, there are some good walks along the almost deserted beaches north of Montezuma.
