We stayed here when we first arrived in Montezuma while we were exploring the area and looking for longer term housing. It was clean and affordable and the staff was friendly and helpful and many spoke excellent English. The rooms have air conditioning and the showers have hot water. The rooms are small but we did not come here to spend time in our hotel room so we did not mind. We found it to be affordable and breakfast was included. This can be a huge perk as eating out gets expensive (especially when traveling with a family). Montezuma is small and you can walk everywhere from the hotel (Playa Grande, Montezuma waterfalls, etc.) and catch the bus toward Cobano or Cabuya right out back. We also took advantage of the amenities (pool, boogie board rental, etc.) at the Ylang Ylang hotel which is affiliated with El Sano Banano and is just a short walk up the beach. We totally recommend it if you don't need fancy.
