We went deep sea fishing off the coast of Cabuya, with Captain William and first mate Jose. We were able to board our boat close by during low tide which was nice (since the closest town Montezuma is 15 minutes away). We were on the water by 6am and caught our first fish within minutes of leaving shore. There were five of us; two women, two men and a child. We all took turns manning the poles. When we got a bite on the line, it was so exhilarating to try to bring the fish in unaided. But when we got a fighter, Will and Jose were right there to cheer us on and assist any way they could. We pulled in four fish in three hours (and lost a few fights with some pretty big ones). We loved every minute of our trip! When we were finished, Will and Jose dropped us off right in front of our casita and Jose even prepared our mackerel for dinner! I would definitely recommend them to anyone who enjoys deep sea fishing, or just a great morning out in the Pacific.
