Great location in the center of town. Always open during a.m. and pm. Nice and clean. Wonderful burger and fries and surfer smoothie. Great place to sit and people watch as well.
The best - and most expensive - casado you'll find in Costa Rica. Although, for only $6, it's still pretty hard to consider it 'expensive.'

We ate a lot of casado when in CR, but the bistek casado at Soda Montesol was easily top three. The portions are generous, and it's a great spot for people watching- the past time of choice in Montezuma.
The service was a bit weird as we were waited on by a distracted teenager who kept wandering off to chat up a local babe, but I think his mom reigns him when it's busy.
Would definitely eat there again.

We had breakfast and dinner there, and since we are now longer in Montezuma, we miss the restaurant.
Great breakfast, nice casados, nice batidos (fruit drink in water or milk). All good!
