“good service, but too many dollars for too little food”

We went to this restaurant and the service is very good with a great atmosphere, we ordered fish and I didn't know that Pargo (loopster) was little, so I had a 300 grams fish with a little portion of mashed potatoes and vegetables, I didn't expect to pay 20 dollars in Costa Rica (which is not little) for a dish and need to eat chips in the hotel because portions are so little. Mashed potatoes are not such a big investment, they could put more.

Same owners as Ylang Ylang - movies every night, lovely staff. Pretty garden dining. Great night out for mixed ages.

“Great Breakfast”

This was by far our best breakfast during our trip to Costa Rica. The typical Costa Rican breakfast (eggs, rice, beans, corn tortillas, and plantains) was just what we were looking for. All while watching monkeys play. Great spot!

“Brownies and shakes”

If you ever sit down and order at El Sano Banano, you must have place in your belly for shakes and or the warm brownies with ice cream, the best of the best - silly good! Food over all is good at El Sano. Staff nice.
Things to improve, bath rooms. Otherwise a pearl on the street for goodies.

“Great food.”

I stayed here one night and had a spacious room, albeit a little noisy outside . The free breakfast was very good, excellent coffee too.
