We loved this place so much that we had dinner there on two nights during our stay. The food was so good and fresh and the fresh bread was amazing!!! My husband had the fish and it was so fresh and he could not get enough of it. One night I tried the hummus with falafel and the other night I had one of the stir frys with shrimp. Both excellent meals and I would highly recommend any of the dishes off of their menu.

The service was great, they were very busy both nights that we were there and kept checking back if everything was ok. You have to go there if you are in the area!!!

Great Israeli-run restaurant, with fresh salads and fresh fish. We didn't love the felafel balls, but otherwise great. Make sure to order the mint lemonade. The waitress there was a total sweetheart, gave us advice on what to do. We went back several times.

During our 8 day stay in Montezuma this year, we ate at Puggo's 3 times. A perfect meal for me is to split an Arabic salad (and bread!) and an entree. The cost is reasonable, and you'll walk away happy.

Montezuma wouldn't be the same without Puggo's! All kinds of delicious and fresh food, and probably the best sushi in Costa Rica! Spend the night drinking limonanas (mint lemonade with vodka), eating awesome food and kicking it with Maya and chill staff that work there. My girlfriend and I stayed at Agua Vista and we had one of Puggo's chefs, Victor, cook us a fantastic meal in the comfort of our cabana and it really set the tone for an unforgettable trip so I highly recommend doing that as well!
