My friends and I have been to Costa Rica two times now, and have done the same Canopy tour in Montezuma through Sun TRails twice. The instructors are professional, speak english very well, and showed us the jungle of Montezuma with professional equipment and a fun atmosphere. Towards the end of the canopy tour there is a very large waterfal that the guides walk you down to for swimming. There are MANY stairs up and down. If you have trouble walking up lots of flights of stairs you may consider staying up above and waiting for the rest of the group to come back. There are something like 160 steps to the waterfall. It is amazing once you arrive and very refeshing. Wear water shoes or tennis shoes as the rocks are slippery! Take a camera or water camera would be even better! Enjoy- and be sure to leave a tip for the guides if you had fun.

The best we have been on and we have been on many canopy tours. We will go back soon.

They picked us up around 9am at our hotel and we went directly to the Canopy place. When we arrived they helped us inmediately with the equipment and 5mins later we were hanging on a cable, crossing rivers and the forest. It was an advanture and especially the stop at the waterfall is fun. I never did Canopy before and I was actually scared of the hight at the beginning, but in the end I just enjoyed myself and did not want it to stop. If you consider doing Canopy in Costa Rica, do it there!

This is a great tour. We haven't done a canopy tour before. So, we don't have anything to compare it to. However, it was a great time. While we were waiting to begin the tour, there were a bunch of monkeys in the trees a couple of feet away from us. There were 9 different zip lines, and we stopped in the middle to hike down to the waterfall. All three of us (Dad, Mom and 12 year old) jumped off of the waterfall into the pool below. Mom isn't really too keen on heights, but she did fine with this trip. Recommend wearing good shoes for hiking. The hike back up from the waterfall is fairly strenuous. At the end of the tour they offer a CD with photos and videos from your tour for $20. It is well-worth getting.
