I was almost afraid to try beef anymore in Costa Rica when Cocolores was recommended to us. I tried the blue cheese filet and it was great (comparatively speaking of course). Our host Maximillian was awesome, the Italian wine was fantastic and the bread was tasty. The location right off the beach was super (especially the night we were there because of the full moon over the ocean).
This restaurant does not take credit cards, but it is clearly marked on their menus.
