We booked our horseback ride and zipline over 25 waterfalls before we left home in Florida.
It was by far the best day trip of our cruising vacations. They picked us up at the port then arrived at the hotel and rode up the trail on the horses. Then we rode the most amazing ziplines across all the waterfalls. We even got to swim in one of the waterfall pools. All 3 guides and another with a pack horse with all our gear treated us great. And we were the only 2 from our ship lucky enough to book this adventure. Thank you Jesus, Dietmar and Barbara. Everyone who stops in Puntarenas MUST go to the Adventure Park Zipline.

I came here on my honeymoon, and this was the highlight of the trip. The zip-lining is absolutely amazing, you get to fly through the rainforest at 50 mph, over beautiful waterfalls. The staff was very friendly, and our guide, Jesus, was a well educated naturalist from Costa Rica who spoke perfect English, and showed us all kinds of interesting plants, animals and insects on the tour. My only regret is that I didn't find out about this place earlier in my trip so I could have stayed a night in the hotel. They have good prices, and the prices get better if you bundle a room, meals and their tours. I would definitely recommend this experience to friends and family.

We stayed here just one night on our way to Samara. We were the only people staying there during low season, so they gave us a great rate on a large room. Room was clean and comfortable, but it did smell a bit like mildew. Cooked to order breakfast was good. The hotel is located up and up a small mountain road. We walked around the trails and saw parrots, toucans and howler monkeys.
We didn't have time to do the adventures, but we will be back to do the canopy tour over 11 waterfalls.

Don't bother to do any other zip lining in Costa Rica because it does not get any better than this. My wife and I have done zip lining in Belize and Mexico as well other places in Costa Rica and this experience is by far the best we have ever done. Rain or shine go to Vista Golfo. We had rain, mist and sun, the rain only made for a better adventure and the lines were really fast with the moisture. The dip in the waterfall pool was welcomed and timed perfectly in the middle of the tour. The 4X4 trip up the mountain was an adventure in its self and it only got better from there. The guides were great and kept us safe and secure the whole time. The views of the mountain were fantastic and waterfalls were even better. We got there late but Barbar took very good care of us. The bathrooms and changing rooms with showers were very clean. The included lunch was large and tasty. The gift shop had items I was not able to find elsewhere, all made in Costa Rica and competitive pricing with a cash discount. Another thing I loved was the mountain road drive in our little rental 4x4 SUV up to this mountain top paradise, not for the faint of heart. The gardens surrounding the grounds were well maintained and the views could not be beat. Yes I would go again but I would never do anything in Costa Rica without my own 4X4 rental vehicle no matter what your travel agent says, I have done it both ways and having your own transportation is the only way to go, do and see Costa Rica. We went in the off season and there were no crowds, as a matter of fact it was just my wife and I with 3 guides on the whole tour.
