This is a great place for couples. The ability to view all the wildlife from the open air restaurant and from our room balcony was incredible! We stayed a week, and never had a dull moment. From hiking up the hill, to strolling down to the beach we continued to see an endless array of wildlife. We saw the squirrel monkeys almost daily, showing off their acrobatic skills as did the white-faced monkeys who took great pride in posing for our camera on the balcony rail. The howler monkeys were a regular drive by, and on the last evening we saw the entire clan complete with babies on their parents back migrating to another part of the forest. Birds, geckos, snakes, iguanas, and even horses were seen among our forest friends. The rooms are very nice, and food is excellent! The entire staff is pleasant, and Dixon our server was especially kind and sincere. We were there for a week the only critique I can lend is I think the GM should reach out to the guests and at least introduce herself. She would come in and sit at a table just off the dining area to eat breakfast. Not sure why, but the staff seemed to be quite intimidated while she was there. From past experiences it's nice when the GM reaches out to the guests, plus it's a great representation of the hotel. A personal touch from Management would be the final star.
