“Beautiful Beach!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 25, 2012

Gorgeous beach, gentle tide, warm water ... swimmer's paradise. Watch where you leave your stuff, especially if you brought food, as the monkeys and raccoons are not afraid of people and will raid your stuff looking for anything edible.

“Nice beach”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 24, 2012

Nice grey sandy beach with no rocks. The beach is a great walking beach, with surfing rentals and a few bars

“Rain forest and hiking!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 24, 2012

What to wear: comfy shoes for lots of walking in mud, rocky paths.
What to bring: swim suit, LOTS of water, towel.
We hiked the entire park in one day, it was really hot and muggy, we were tired and thirsty and then got to the beach, and WOW, the water was totally amazing. The beach is a little rocky and has lots of sea shells on the ocean floor when walking in, but after 1-2 feet, its all sand. Take the guided tour if you care to see Sloths and other animals hidden in the tree tops.

there are food and beverage vendors outside the Manuel Antonio Park, but nothing is sold inside the Park, so pack accordingly.

There are beach showers and restrooms available.

“Charming beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 14, 2012

What a lovely beach. Nothing like the American ones which have mega hotels on the beach. Palm trees, sand and warm waves...this is paradise.
