“Great bacon!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 9, 2012

Friends of ours staying in Quepos had a brunch here at Emilio's. It was really tasty. The bacon was especially good! I missed bacon while on vacation! The service was good. Felt like a quaint little cafe. Fresh squeezed juices were a plus.

“Great Vibes, Great Place!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2012

I LOVE Emilios! Where do I start… awesome coffee, cappuccino, and chocolate croissants will all leave you craving it from the first minute you open your eyes in the morning! Not only good for mornings, but the Falafel is amazing for dinner. Being a resident of Manuel Antonio, it is very hard to keep myself from eating every meal of the day here. All of the food there is the highest quality, but not too expensive. You can trust you are getting the best quality ingredients and products here. The best part about Emilio's is that Emilio himself serves you with a huge smile everyday and his warm vibes and positive energy are felt as soon as you walk in… and the staff follows suite! You can tell he really cares about your satisfaction. Oh, and the bagel with the homemade onion cream cheese is delicious! Great view, great view, great vibe, which attracts great friends and great customers. If you are in Manuel Antonio, be sure to stop in, you will not be disappointed!

“Hola mi vesino”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2012

My wife and I have a home just down the block from Emilio's, so we watched with eager anticipation the preparations for his opening. Emilio, even in the pre-opening madness, was his usual gracious self and, of course, the coffee and gnashables were wonderful. We are so glad to have such a gem so close to our house. We can't wait to get back and visit now that it's up and running. I should add that our friends in Manuel Antonio have been knocked out as well.

“The Premiere Coffee House in Manuel Antonio”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2012

Emilio's is truly a gem in Manuel Antonio. They have plenty of fresh coffee and specialty drinks, a dessert case with a large selection of homemade desserts, and some of the best falafels I've had anywhere in the world. Plus the prices were some of the best around. It's a casual environment with plenty of room for you to lounge out with your laptop and use the WiFi or you can sit on the balcony and admire the panoramic jungle view.

Emilio himself is very friendly and his passion for creating delicious dishes is apparent in everything he serves. His flour-less chocolate espresso cake, fruit tarts, key lime pie, chocolate covered macaroons and coconut flan were some of our favorites. We ate the falafels quite frequently. They were delicious and authentic, with handmade pita, falafel balls, sauce and couscous. They are healthy and vegetarian friendly. The falafel burger is good too! He also does breakfast, other lunch items, and has fresh baked ciabatta bread for sale.

Emilio's is a must visit for anyone in the area. You will love it here and will be made to feel right at home.
