We didn't stay at this hotel, thank god...we stopped by to have dinner at the restaruant. A gentleman we had met recommended this restaurant for good, well priced seafood.

We came in about 5 pm and no one else was at the restaurant. There was 6 of us so we asked the waitress if it was okay if we put two of the small tables together so we could all sit together. She didn't seem thrilled to help us. After she gave us the menus and walked away three of us heard her quite loudly call us nasty names in spanish.

That was enough for us and we left. I'm sure this was an isolated incident but it will defenitely keep us from ever going there again.

We ate lunch at this place after visiting the national park. I would say.. don't bother!
The waitress was rude and got the order wrong twice; but was not even remotely apologetic, just said we had ordered something different! Which clearly wasn't the case ( not lost in translation either!)
When the food eventually came, the salad was pretty dire and expensive for a few leaves.
Pick somewhere else if you want decent food and service.

The rooms were very nice and good airconditioned. Nice shower and a good bed. The owners were very nice people and the cocktails delicious!! Breakfast was for a good price. If you are going to the beach this is really a very good place to stay...

We stayed for several nights here.The rooms are clean and well looked after. It is an older hotel but the price was really reasonable.We enjoyed dining in the restaurant and being visited by the dogs and cats.There is no pool but you are 1 block from the beach and 2 blocks from the National Park
