Another awesome trip back to Casa De Frutas in Tulemar, Manuel Antonio. My 2nd trip this year. This place is absolutely amazing and a must see. Again, it was a wonderful welcoming by the staff. This place has the friendliest staff and always right there when you need anything. I came back to Costa Rica with no set plans but once i showed up Mauricio and Dave were right there making our schedule and took care of all the excursions.

This place is located right on a hillside over looking the Pacific Ocean. Upstairs has a full kitchen, dinning room, living room, master bedroom and lots of balcony space. Downstairs has 2 identical master suites which also have a great view of the Pacific Ocean with connecting balconies. We saw wildlife from the open air home everyday. Tulemar is a gated community with 24 hr security. Lots of monkeys and a few sloths. We even had a few Toucans hanging around on the tree tops. This home is fully equipped and a grocery store right down the street. A couple nights we even made our own meals and drinks and relaxed poolside enjoying the sunsets and the family of monkeys that come through daily.

The private beach is just a 5 min walk down the hill with awesome wildlife encounters. They even have free transportation to and from the beach. They also serve food and drinks at the beach. I highly recommend brunch or lunch. The staff at the beach were such a great time and friendly people.

Thanks again Dave, Mauricio, Lou, Daniela and the rest of the staff for making it another wonderful and relaxing vacation. You all are wonderful people. See you again soon!

Made our third trip to Costa Rica in the past 18 months in September. As with the first two trips, it was fantastic. All three times we have stayed in Tulemar, but this time was extra special because we stayed at Casa de Fruitas. Wow! We stayed in Casa Panorama the first two times and we thoroughly enjoyed it, but Casa de Fruitas was a cut above.

We stayed with another couple and a solo traveler. The other couple was celebrating a special anniversary and they stayed in the master bedroom. What a great place to celebrate a special occasion. The downstairs bedrooms are truly suites. Private patios, efficiency kitchens, dining area, all with a view of the Pacific.

I don't want to forget to mention our concierge, Mauricio. He is fantastic. He arranges all excursions for you, makes reservations for dinner and can arrange all sorts of unique activities, like a lunch out in a palm orchard. He even brought warm homemade brownies by one afternoon. Also, our host, Dave was amazing. He knows everything about the area and whatever he recommends that you do while here, you should definitely do it. He won't steer you wrong!

Three generations of my family all came together here at Casa Panorama Sur for a phenomenal family vacation. Admittedly, I am here on the upper deck as I write this. There is a toucan sitting in a tree less than 20 feet away; monkeys have already visited us this morning. All I can think about is how to extend my stay! We have had an unbelievable time here in Tulemar. The pool, the ocean, the hiking trails- all are spectacular! Surpassing all of these things is Casa Panorama Sur itself and all it has given to us. Sunsets that have been so gorgeous even my little talkative 4 year old has been speechless, sightings of birds and animals that are spectacular to see, and of course the unparalleled views of the Pacific Ocean.

As other reviewers have mentioned, Dave, Kimberly and everyone else here at Tulemar are top notch professionals in all that they offer and provide to/for the guests. Kimberly helped plan amazing expeditions for my family- and she did so without a complaint as I emailed her ridiculous amounts of time (sorry Kimberly). This is my 2nd time to this part of Costa Rica and this trip has been so much more amazing than my first.

If you are debating a trip to Costa Rica, you MUST come to Tulemar. You will not be disappointed- and if you stay at Casa Panorama Sur you may find me hiding in a closet. I do not want to leave!

My girlfriend and I stayed at Casa Panorama South in July 2012 and had an absolute blast. We stayed in the lower 1 bedroom unit and could not have asked for a better place. It was a great jumping off point to explore Quepos and Manuel Antonio. From the moment we booked to the time we had to leave early due to a family emergency back in the US Kimberly the house manager made our stay fantastic. She reached out early and offered a ton of information that made it easy to plan our trip to Costa Rica not only to Tulemar but also our trip to Costa Rica as a whole. She picked us up at the airport and gave us a tour of Quepos and Manual Antonio before we even checked in. She walked us through the check in process and was always a phone call away... literally at anytime of the day. She really loves her job and the area and it shows through how she treats her guests. The rental also was amazing.... the amenities, the fruit basket Kimberly provided and the resort itself is perfect. The rental unit was across from a pool with a bar/restaurant and it was a short walk down to the private beach with free kayaks, boogie boards, snorkle gear and also had a beach side restaurant and bar. The beach is perfect for swimming and the resort provides a shuttle to save you from the uphill work. Also the shuttle will bring you to the entrance of the resort where you can walk to a store and a lot of great restaurants. Kim also was a great resource for activities which are plentiful in the area. I recommend the rental to anyone planning a trip to Costa Rica and can't wait to return. We were able to have a great time there and do everything we wanted without a rental car and abig part of that was because of Kimberley's help.
