This hotel was recommended by the daughter of my "mama tica" in Costa Rica. It is a real "find." The hotel is located at the end of a road so it is secluded and a bit away from the other hotels... The rooms are spacious and the view is "phenomenal." But the best feature of this special place is the people who work there....Carlos at the front desk and all the rest are wonderful. They make you feel like it is your home. If you viist Manuel Antonio and don't stay at the Mansion, it is your loss.

I cannot say enough good things about this beautiful hotel! From the views anywhere in the hotel to the staff (ALL staff!). Everyone and everything worked together to make this the most enjoyable experience for my husband and I! The rooms are clean and the housekeeping staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautifully decorated - basic rooms all the way to the Presidential Suite! The restaurant has the best chef and wait staff that can compete with some of the best restaurants in the U.S.

I would love to thank everyone personally but there are too many to name! Just know that if you stay here you will be treated like royalty!!! Thank you La Mansion Inn!!!

My husband and I are physically in the hotel this minute! We are on our honeymoon and are so impressed with the place that we decided to write a review before we leave while emotions are high and details are available. We absolutely love it here and are so upset we have to go back home in 2 days!! This is our 3rd night and we have enjoyed every second of being here. The staff knows us by name and chat with us frequently about their lives, ours, places to go to eat, things to do and more. Jorge, Jonathan and Jesus are our favorites, so look out for them; they're great guys! The view from our room is stunning and housekeeping comes twice per day to bring new towels, goodies, and to turn down the bed. They are also quite skilled at creating towel sculptures! The food has been fantastic (the pancakes at breakfast are better than any IHOP in the US) and we love getting drinks at the pool swim up bar. There are frequent shuttles to the local beach, and the staff is more than happy to arrange rides into town and to call taxis for you if you want to eat anywhere else. The only negative thing we can say is the the towels and sheets are a tad scratchy on our newly sunburned bodies! SPF 80+ is a necessity here; the Costa Rican sun is STRONG! I hope this review was helpful and I urge you to stay here. It is the 4th hotel we have stayed in in CR and is by far our favorite! We are already talking about returning for our 20 year anniversary. ( or 5 if we can't wait that long to come back!!)

The mansion inn was wonderful! My husband and I stayed for three nights. The staff was great, the views were awesome and the rooms were comfortable and air conditioned. Special shout outs to to the guys at the bat cave and pool bars- Bart, Adrian, Jonathan, and Jesus!
The restaurant was also nice with good food. Great service by Juan Carlos and Jorge for breakfast! We were also so happy to be able to wake up and watch a sloth that was living in a tree right across from the hotel!!
Also they have a free shuttle/ car that can take youto the beach right next to the nature reserve- definitely something to check out with a guide!
We will be back again hopefully. Pura Vidal!!
