From the outside, Sancho's looks like a cool surfer-type fish taco joint. Don't be fooled. It was the worst fish taco I have ever had, and kind of expensive, too. If you are really jonesing a great fish taco, I recommend that you wait until you are in nearby Jaco, and go to the excellent "Taco Bar" instead.
This spot has everything to be a hit: the location, the set up, the attitude....except the food.
The restaurant offers boring / mediocre mexican tacos. We had 2 meat tacos and 1 fish one and none of them were very tasty at all.
We really were not expecting wonders but they managed to disappoint us.
Tacos have so much to offer.....WAKE UP chicos, you can do MUCH better than that. The only way is up.

Perfect snack! And right across the street from our hotel. My girlfriend and I ate here twice. Stopped here after our epic walk back from the beach, and another time to pick up a couple of tacos to walk around and explore more of Manuel Antonio. The guy at the place was real down to earth and was very friendly both times we came here. Highly recommended for quick, super cheap snack.
Sancho's totally hit the spot. After a morning of body surfing at the public beach, an Imperial and tasty food at Sancho's was just what the doctor ordered. Their chips, salsa and guacamole platter is AMAZING and the carnitas burrito was fantastic. I couldn't stop eating it but it was so huge I couldn't finish. I highly recommend Sancho's!!!

Loved this spot, and Marshall the owner was really sweet. Food is very good and the prices are right! Check it out for tacos!
