Stayed for three nights and found this Hotel to be affordable, clean and close to main beach. Had a private double bed room for 65/night. Rooms have AC, TV, fridge, and wifi is strong. Showerhead had strong hot water. Room was also pretty large.
Staff is very friendly and manager went above and beyond to help us book tours.
Free breakfast consists of toast, fruits, pastries, juice, coffee and tea. Light but decent.
My only complaint is that we stayed on the first floor and the cielings are thin. There is so much loud thumping and noise from upstairs at 7 in the mornings. Walls are also thin and can hear everything outside.
Don't come here in November. Wait for dry season in December and January. It rained most days and stayed in most afternoons.
Recommend eating Sancho's (Mexican) and Ngo (Chinese) and El sol (Costa Rican).

For a great price my sister and I had two clean beds, delicious breakfast and a very helpful staff! The best part of this hotel, however, was its proximity to the beach. It is just a two minute walk from the beautiful coast line. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in Manuel Antonio.

I stayed two nights at Jungle Beach Hotel while doing some work in the area after hearing about them from some friends. The room was spacious, bathroom totally remodeled, air conditioning, cable TV, WIFI, coffee available early, great selection of Continental breakfast items, quiet (even though it's near the road), safe in-room, clean and super friendly staff. Kathy the manager was a doll and the front desk was super accommodating. I would highly recommend this hotel for location and everything I mentioned above. This is going to be one of the busiest hotels in MA in no time. You better book early if you plan on traveling in the high season. Did I mention the monkeys on the balcony in the AM? Or the Howlers in the AM?

My husband and I were traveling with a friend. We didn't have any booking and after shopping around a handful of places, found Jungle Beach Hotel. Trust us - we've done the leg work, you won't find better value for money so close to the beach! :-) The location is perfect. We stayed in a triple room, and the kind reception staff gave us choice of 3 different rooms which would accommodate the 3 of us. We selected a ground unit, back off the road, with it's own patio and outdoor furniture. There was off-street parking for our vehicle. We had air conditioning and a fridge to keep our snacks and drinks cold. Breakfast is very simple but adequate. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. So much so that we actually returned here for another night on our way back up the coast from Punta Banco down by the Panama border. Unfortunately my husband fell ill that night (obviously a dodgy chicken fajita he'd consumed for lunch on the road trip up that day!) and was quite unwell all night and into the next day. We explained our situation to the kind and understanding hotel reception staff who let us have the room 3/4 into the next day so my husband could rest until he was well enough to get cleaned up and resume our 4 hour drive north that afternoon. He certainly couldn't have done it earlier that day! So they were very kind and empathetic.We really appreciated it. I highly, highly recommend this place to everyone.
