“wonderful romantic experience!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2013

We were in Manuel Antonio last week and had planned to dine at Villa Caletas where we stayed years ago. But unwilling to make the long drive at night, we opted instead for La Luna. It was terrific! We went early for drinks and to enjoy the sunset, then had a leisurely and lovely dinner that was delicious start to finish. Glad we gave it a try!

What a pleasure to have had you visit us at La Luna Restaurant. We are lucky indeed that you choose us over the other restaurant.

And thrilled to say the least that we performed to your total satisfaction.

Thank you for sharing your wonderful experience.

“Food was great - but slow....”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2012 via mobile

The food was wonderful, but plan on a long dining experience. We sat around 7:30 and the restaurant was full. They we're doing their best. Although it was slow, the food was terrific, as all 4 of us enjoyed the meal. Good for older children, but not young ones.

Thank you for selecting La Luna Restaurant for your recent dining experience.

We are so very happy that you enjoyed your meal and and your selection of our 5 star cuisine.

I apologize if you might have waited a bit longer than expected as we were totally full on the night of your visit which was during the Christmas and New Years period.

But we certainly thank you for taking your personal time to share with others your input on this TripAdvisor forum.

“Great food and nice ambience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2012

We wanted to go to this restaurant because we heard a lot of good things about it. We were not disappointed!

We were not staying at the Hotel Gaia but this was not an issue at all.

The quality of the food was excellent. The ceviche was fantastic. For the entree, we had the Mahi Mahi and the tuna. The Mahi Mahi was wonderfully made. The tuna was good too, however the pieces were a bit too large for a sushi-like meal. On the other side, there was not enough vegetables with the fish. A little bit expensive but I think it's worth it.

The staff was very welcoming.

We had a great time.

We are thrilled our recent guests found our La Luna Restaurant to their total satisfaction.

Not a guest at Gaia......Not a problem.

We welcome all of our neighboring hotel guests to experience Gaia at least once during their visit to the Quepos/Manuel Antonio area. Many come back more than once.

Thank you for sharing your wonderful experience.

“Lovely setting and welcoming staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 26, 2012

My husband and I spent Christmas Night here, with our 18 and 8 year old daughters. We had a lovely meal, wonderful sunset, friendly waitstaff, etc. Service was a bit slow for our taste, ended up being there 3 1/2 hours, which was a good hour longer than I prefer, even on Christmas ; - ) But food was good and the people were genuinely helpful and glad we were there, so that goes a long way when you're dining with a 8 year old... Going for sunset was smart for photos, but it was a bit warm that evening, so going at 8p would have been more comfortable.

Thank you for spending Christmas Eve with us at La Luna Restaurant.

We had a very special menu that evening which was sold out within one day of advertizing. We are glad you and your family enjoyed the atmosphere of La Luna along with the service and cuisine.

We are always happy to accommodate requests special meals especially for our younger guests. No request is too cumbersome for either our waitstaff or kitchen staff.
