“Best Vacation I have ever had!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 31, 2010

My friends and I traveled to Villa Maniel Antonio and had the most amazing experience. The Villa was absolutely gorgeous and was kept very clean. The pool was an amazing addition after a long day at the beach or for a late night dip! Also, the location was ideal! We would often grab delcious breakfast at a restaurant right next to Villa Manuel Antonio and walk down to the beach. In the evening, we would take the (extremely cheap!) Bus back to the Village and walk to a restaurant or hale a cab, that drove up and down the nearby main road.

Lorenzo was a fantastic host who more than surpassed our expectations. He helped us with every aspect of our stay from helping us get transportation from San Jose to Manuel Antonio, finding and booking tours we were interested in, recommending restaurants and bars, and even helped us deal with the airport when they lost our luggage! He truly made us feel at home in the gorgous surroundings.

Our group enjoyed our stay so much that we have just booked our flights to return to Manuel Antonio this March! I can only hope that Villa Manuel Antonio is available ....

Booked the hotel after reading other reviews. We had a one floor, two bedroom unit. We were one floor up from the bottom and had a nice view of the ocean. Each bedroom had its own bathroom and include a kitchen, living room, and patio balcony with BBQ. There is also a small swimming pool to cool down in. Bedrooms have air conditioning with ceiling fans and main rooms have fans. It was hot while we were there, but comfortable in the unit.
It is located half way from Quepos to Manuel Antonio Park and an easy walk to several nice bars and restaurants where you can watch the amazing sunsets.
Owner Lorenzo was always at hand to make sure you were happy. We had Christmas dinner together at the Villa, very relaxing. He also arranged a tour guide and had excellent suggestions for the surrounding area.
It is a bit of a walk to the beach, but location to other ammentities makes it a nice location.

We absolutely loved this place! We had a group of 13 of us and the space was more than enough. The house is incredibly comfortable with tons of amenities. The pool was fantastic and we loved sitting out on the hammocks on the porch. We even had monkey's visit one morning. I hope to be able to go back to Villa Manuel Antonio!
note: the beach that you can walk to from the house is a great beach...wish we had spent a little more time there.

Wow I can't believe more people haven't written up about this place. I write this review with much hesitation because it's anything beyond a quaint condo existence. The Owner (Lorenzo) has impeccable taste that comes off modest but upscale. Best of all, it's a great place for a nice dinner party on the balcony, and Lorenzo, who is a charming host himself, most likely won't turn down your offer to share a taste of your red!HA! So if you are a person of simple taste, and the best is usually good enough, then this is it for you. And the staff is like family...well, at least the more positive aspects of family. Although he does accept walk-ins, I suggest making a reservation because there are only 3 available condos (love it). I am thinking this place doesn't have more reviews because those who have stayed here don't want competition when they return-including me. I did not write much on the condo because the description and photos speak for themselves. It is the owner and staff that make this place a five star experience. Pura Vida!!

This hotel should be listed under Manuel Antonio and not Quepos. We arranged to come to this hotel far in advance with owner Laurent. When we arrived he upgraded us from staying in just a one floor room to the huge 3 story villa. Since it was just me and my girlfriend, probably a bit excessive having 7 bedrooms haha, but it was nice having space and going to different levels to enjoy the view. I could seriously sit on the balcony and drink an imperial for hours. After doing lots of research before hand on Manuel Antonio, I found it extremely difficult to find properties that overlook the ocean and are close walking distance to the beach. (probably a 15minute walk, which for MA is close comparing to most other properties) When I did find such properties they were out of my price range. Laurent offers a good price considering the view the quality of his house, and what comparible places charge. Definitely a memerable experience in Costa RIca.

We originally booked the week at another establishment and were disappointed after staying one night. My friend went running early in the morning and came upon Villa Manuel Antonio. As she wandered around the property, she met the owner Lorenzo. He was very sympathetic to our situation and made us an excellent deal. We were ushered to a beautiful two bedroom, two bathroom condo with a million dollar view of the ocean and National Park all at a very reasonable price. Lorenzo was very accomidating with letting us do laundry and use the office phone as 3 pieces of luggage were were delayed 4 days. (He even helped the delivery guy bring our delayed luggage to our door!) This place is VERY nice and clean. Close to shopping , eateries and the beach. Awesome pool and facilities. Why stay anywhere else???

We stayed at Casa Española in Manuel Antonio Costa Rica and we had a blast.
Ricardo and Alex went totally out of their way to make are stay as enjoyable as possible and cattered to or families needs hand and foot.
The chef service and food were immaculate, the monkeys showed up on the decks like clock work every afternoon around 3:30 every day . The house was totaly spectacular and reasonably rated. Vacation Villas made our stay worth every cent and some
