We have stayed at the Oasis for many visits and each time it is like visiting family. Marianne and Haim are very accomodating and will do anything to help you be comfortable. We love the bungalows.They are clean and spacious for a couple and we love having a kitchen, especially for an extended stay. It's a great location, close to the beach, restaurants, and shops. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and it's a great place to watch the birds and relax on your covered patio. Every year they make improvements and we feel it is a value priced accomodation in a great location. We are already looking forward to our next trip!

We returned to the Oasis earlier this year, and (as always) it was a delightful experience! The grounds are lush, the rooms are comfortable and our hosts are superb. I have been all over Costa Rica and this is my favorite place to stay and to visit. The hotel is clean and comfortable, the surfing is excellent, the beaches are clean, people are friendly, food is fabulous and margaritas are large. Yaaaaa!

We are just back from spending 11 days at the Hotel Oasis. It is a wonderful little hotel to relax. The well stocked little cottages are clean and confortable. There always seems to be an ocean breeze so there was never a need for AC. The veranda out front was delightful and a great place to watch birds and local wildlife. We almost always had the pool to ourselves and the comfy lounge chairs were a great place to curl up and read a book. It is a short walk to the wonderful beach of Mal Pais and Santa Teresa, where you can watch the surfing or walk to the many tide pools in the area. It is only a couple of blocks to some terrific restaurants in the area. We hope to be back at the Oasis soon!

My boyfriend came to visit me in Costa Rica and we spent three nights at Oasis. After spending every weekend in hostels, this was luxurious! The property is beautiful and the bungalow was very well-kept. We spent most of our time at the pool or the beach during the day because of the heat. The bungalow didn't cool down to a comfortable temperature until late at night, around 10. We used the kitchen every day for all of our meals - the burners took a while to heat up, and we ended up not buying any meat to cook because we weren't sure if the burner would be hot enough to cook it! The store and restaurants are a 5 minute walk away. The road to the beach is 200m down the road from Oasis.
We only stayed here for three nights and had another place booked for the last two nights of our trip, but I wish we would have stayed in Oasis the whole time! It is the best place you will find for your money.
