A truly beautiful setting up on the hill above the beaches combined with warm hospitality and wonderful food makes for a fabulous stay. Staff are attentive and knowledgable. Not cheap (comparable to silmilar luxe inns in NA or Mexico) but excellent value.
Warning re roads - in the dry season be ready for bumpy, dusty roads all over Nicoya. The road up to Chameleon is VERY steep. Bring a 4x4 with good ground clearance if you plan to travel any distance.
