Very good if you rent a car because you can't walk to the beach!The people are friendly and you can rest easy!You can also bring your pets and there are 2 beautiful dogs on the spot!Juliana and her boyfriend are nice!

Stayed here with my sweetheart 2 nights this week (wanted 3 but made last minute reservations and they only had vacancy for 2 nights)
The view is great, the rooms are more than fine, and the price is right yada yada yada.
The hotel is about 5 minutes from the action ($3 cab ride to the beach, $4 to downtown)
It's super calm and comfy and nestled up on a hill with a nice breakfast in the morning. This stuff is all great, but I'm sure you've read the same in all the other reviews.
That should all be enough to make you book right now, but if it's not keep reading.
Unfortunately my lady got sick from something she ate the first night and was sick for our entire stay. The super friendly, super attentive, and super Canadian (perfect English) staff bent over backwards to help us out.
They did everything from suggesting cures, providing medicine, providing tea/ginger ale, getting a doctor to open a clinic after hours for us, getting us to the clinic, etc.
Every time I walked passed anyone that worked there they asked how "my better half" was doing and requested I stop by often with health updates.
To solidify how great this place was... We spent our final night in Jaco at a different hotel on the beach for the same price. It sucked... Smelly, dirty, mildewy, and an utter joke in comparison to the wonderful experience that was had at Vista Pacifico (minus my lady vomiting all day long of course but that couldn't be helped ;)

My wife and I stayed here while visiting the Jaco area for 3 days. What a great place to stay. Beautiful views, gorgeous pool! Great breakfast of fresh fruit, pastries etc served every morning. It was great having a refrigerator and grill or stove to cook on. Our fridge was stocked with the items we had requested before arriving. A very short drive from the room into Jaco made it easy to enjoy the beach and nightlife and then return to a quiet room at night. If you are planning to visit Jaco stay here. You will not be disappointed!

My third visit to Jaco and third stay at Vista Pacifico, (the nights I stayed at other Jaco Hotels were a disaster - noisy and overpriced). Vista Pacifico is far enough from the city to abate the traffic noise and exhaust fumes, but only a $3 taxi to town. The ocean view from atop the hill is great and breezes make Vista Pacifico 10 degrees cooler than town.
I stayed for a week during the October 'rainy' season and saw no rain!
For my week stay during the January 'dry' season- it rained briefly every day- go figure. Caught some Mahi Mahi (bragging rights) and ate them off the grill at the hotel! Fresh fruit, coffee and buns every morning- plus a swimming pool. Don't even think of staying anywhere else in Jaco, you'll thank me for this advise...Michigan Bob
