Recently spent a week at DoceLunas and all I can really say is WOW. The grounds are beautiful, and it's kinda private, unlike the resorts right on Jaco Beach, which I found very enchanting and peaceful. Just a great all-around relaxing vibe with a very friendly staff, and definitely within our budget. Would surely visit again.

The resort is just gorgeous and the staff is very friendly. The hotel is conveniently located near downtown Jaco, but secluded enough to feel like you're in the jungle. I was here for Jungle Jam, a three day music festival held at the hotel, which was amazing on its own, but DoceLunas provided the perfect setting. The pool is incredible, food was great, grounds were kept very clean, and I can't wait for next year! If you are planning a trip to Jaco, look no further, this place is exceptional!

I had the opportunity to stay Hotel DoceLunas in Jaco, Costa Rica in January, 2013 and had a wonderful time there. It was nice to be in a property set away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Jaco, The grounds of the hotel, located at the base of the jungle covered mountainside, are very peaceful. It is very easy to get in and out of Jaco, which is just a short and inexpensive cab ride away (or if you want a good walk.) During my stay, I took advantage of all the amenities offered at the hotel including my first ever yoga class with one of their frequent special guest instructors, and wonderful spa services including a great massage and a men’s manicure/pedicure. The food at the hotel restaurant was top notch and the outdoor (covered) dining was particularly pleasant. The bar also provided for a nice place to have an end of the day cocktail. The pool was very refreshing and made for a nice way to cool off before and after our days adventures around Costa Rica. The rooms were very clean and spacious – with large bathrooms and a double sink. The hotel staff was very friendly, helpful and responsive. What more could you ask for on your getaway?

I had the pleasure or returning once again to the Twelve Moons for this year's Jungle Jam and it stills holds a special place for me. This is an ideal setting for most anything and to spending three solid nights of listening to great music from dusk to dawn makes it even more special. The grounds are great, pool super cool with its waterfall feature, food ALWAYS great, (they roasted and served pulled pork amongst other local fare) and the management loving and caring. I am going to make every effort to be back again next year and bring some friends Thanks for setting up the big screen so we could see the playoff games on Sunday..despite who won.
