“Chameleon Restaurant - changes day to night”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2013

The Coffee Shop is unique in that its kind of a time-share split between 2 different operations/owners.

During the day the Coffee Shop starts the morning as a Coffee Shop serving great Costa Rican coffee & breakfast fare. Lunch time rolls around and you can enjoy a cool drink and a nice open air lunch.

However, at Night... a magnificent Chef named Bruno and his team take over the Coffee Shop and Bruno is without a doubt one of the best Chef's you will ever encounter anywhere (LA, NY or Paris). We'd met Bruno thru our hosts in Jaco Costa Rica where Bruno prepared Dinner at our Penthouse on the Beach the first night there. His food preparation & presentation skills are 5 Stars... and worth the visit to this restaurant by anyone visiting Jaco... thanks Bruno!

“Best breakfast in town”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2013 via mobile

This is a must every morning !
We visit Costa Rica about 4-5 times a year this coffee shop has been there forever. The owner is a native Canadian but has been in this area for 27 years! Love her homemade bread and the cinnamon rolls puts grandly's to shame !! Do stop in and tell her hi and enjoy the meal and a great cup of coffee..

“Great Gallo Pinto Breakfast.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 6, 2013

We were headed back to airport and decided to stop in for coffee before the trip...glad we did. This was the best typical breakfast we had during our 12 days in Costa Rica. Highly recommend the sweet rolls too.

“Great coffee, nice ambiance”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 27, 2013

This was a nice restaurant, place to have a snack or a coffee on the main street in town. Relaxed atmosphere. Fantastic Cafe Britt coffee and creative natural fruit smoothies.

“Ideal for breakfast and/or lunch!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

Home baked bread and cinnamon rolls, lunch sandwiches and breakfast served until 2 pm. The coffee shop is open from 7 am to 2 pm and is well worth while. The servers (friendly and efficient) and the owner/baker all bring quality to the table. Try a cinnamon roll and coffee; you'll be back again and again!
