The red anchova is amazing...the chorizo perfect!
Please, do not go to Costa Rica and eat "american food"...go for fresh food!

Located on the main drag of Jaco and open to the street made for a noisy dining experience. We dined in the veranda at the front of the restuarant and received very good service from Ricardo who spoke very good English. The steak I ordered was not the best I had in Costa Rica, a little tough but edible. The prices were pretty mucn in line with what I had paid at similar places throughout Costa Rica, maybe a little less, I think the steak was some where around $12-$14. Not bad for a steak.

Made the mistake of ordering the $10 prime rib special, and it was easily one of the worst steaks I've ever tried to eat. I ordered it medium well, but it came out tough as shoe leather. On top of that, it tasted like dirty dishwater. Couldn't eat it. To their credit, it was taken off our bill.

Costa Rican meat is generally very tough! NOT here! The steaks were well seasoned and cooked as ordered. And the home-made sauces are to die for.
